Financing Options

Surgery Center of Amarillo (SCA) recognizes the financial impact a surgery can have on our patients.  It is for that reason SCA will offer the following financing options:

1. CareCredit
   • Used for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance, and special financing options are available that you may not be able to get with other cards.
   • Short term financing – 6 months with no interest charged for procedures of $200 or more.
   • A minimum monthly payment is required.
   • Interest will be charged to the patients account from the purchase date if the balance is not paid in full within 6 months.
   • Long term financing – Procedures costing $1,000 or more may be eligible for a 24 month term at 14.90% APR or a 36 month term at 15.90% APR. 
2. Local Banks
   • Local banks offer competitive rates to assist our patients with medical bills.
   • Amarillo National Bank – Tascosa Road Branch
   • Happy State Bank
3. PayPal
   • Pay in Full now.
   • Pay overtime with PayPal Credit
     • Patients can apply and get a decision in seconds.
     • Check out with PayPal and choose PayPal Credit.
     • No Interest if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $99+
     • A minimum monthly payment is required.
     • Interest will be charged to the patients account from the purchase date if the balance is not paid in full within 6 months.
   • Pay in 4 interest-free payments  ($30-$1,500)
     • Split the patients purchase of $xx.xx into 4 payments with no impact on credit score and no late fees.
     • Patients will choose Pay in 4 at checkout.
     • The patient will put 25% down payment.
     • Use autopay for the last 3 payments.
     • When applying, a soft credit check may be needed, but will not affect their credit score.
